Using A Hair Straightener To Curl Hair

Many people love using hair straighteners because it makes their hair soft, sleek, and fly away free, not to mention straight. But would you be surprised that you can also get beautiful curls and flips with a flat iron that also helps to maintain that sexy, shiny look while keeping hair healthy? Most people are, but they are more than willing to understand, because we all know that beauty tools serving more than one purpose are truly valuable.

Depending on the width of your curling iron, this will tell you what type and size curls you can achieve with it. To start curling your hair with a flat iron, divide up your hair into four sections and place them up with barrettes or away from the rest of the hair. Start with your first section and take about inch width of strands and wrap it around the flat iron’s plate. Start as high or as low on your head as you want to begin your curls. Once you have wrapped that hair around the plate, gentle press down on the handle and close the plate on the hair. Then slowly pull the iron down until every strand of hair has been heated…. and voila- beautiful curls! Do this to the rest of your hair and you see amazing, flowing, gorgeous curls that are not frizzy and very natural looking. It may take some time to get used to curling your hair with a hair straightener but once you are accustomed to it you will never need that old curling iron again!
